Meet Natalie

I’m Natalie, a HCPC Registered Health Psychologist and PhD researcher specialising in the relationship between physical health, psychological wellbeing and quality of life.

I support people who are navigating health challenges that can affect how they feel, think and live. My work ranges from long-term health conditions, changes to wellbeing, menopause and other women’s health concerns.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative and evidence-based. I’ll work with you to understand what’s going on, make sense of how your health is affecting your life, and develop practical strategies that feel realistic for you.

Why health psychology?

Our health affects far more than our physical wellbeing. It can influence our confidence, relationships, work, routines and how we see ourselves.

I became passionate about health psychology because I believe psychological support should recognise the whole person, not just a diagnosis or symptom. I’m interested in helping people understand the connection between their health, thoughts, emotions and behaviours, and finding practical ways to feel more in control.

My work is grounded in psychological research, but it is always focused on the individual in front of me. Together, we can explore what is affecting your wellbeing and identify changes that feel meaningful and achievable for you.

Experience & Qualifications

My career has been centred around understanding how psychological, social and physical factors interact to influence health and wellbeing.

I am a HCPC Registered Health Psychologist and am currently completing my PhD at King's College London, where my research explores patient experience, treatment response and quality of life in people receiving treatment for opioid use disorder.

Alongside my research, I have experience working across NHS, third-sector and academic settings, supporting people with complex health and wellbeing needs. My clinical and research experience has given me a strong understanding of behaviour change, long-term health, health inequalities and the factors that can influence quality of life.

I hold an MSc in Health Psychology and an MSc in Addiction Studies, alongside my doctoral research and professional qualification in Health Psychology.

My Approach

A personalised, evidence-based approach

I believe psychological support should be tailored to you, rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Motivational Interviewing and behaviour change techniques.

Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, behaviours and circumstances that may be affecting your health and wellbeing. We'll then develop practical strategies that fit your life, helping you build confidence, understand yourself better and make changes that feel sustainable.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate and grounded in psychological research. You remain at the centre of the process, and we'll regularly review what is working for you and adapt our work as needed.

What it's like to work with me

I know that reaching out for psychological support can feel like a big step. I aim to create a warm, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what you're experiencing and feel genuinely heard.

We’ll work at a pace that feels right for you, taking time to understand your individual circumstances and what matters most to you. Whether you're adjusting to changes in your health, experiencing changes to confidence or wellbeing, or wanting to make changes but aren't sure where to start. Working together means that you don't have to navigate this alone.

My role is not to tell you what you should do. Instead, I'll work alongside you to develop a clearer understanding of your experiences and find approaches that fit your life.

Ready to take the next step?

If you're looking for personalised, evidence-based psychological support, I'd love to hear from you.
